Thorough explanation from the characteristics of related systems to the key points of business.
Our company will hold a seminar on the "Battery Storage Business." Since the amendment of the Electricity Business Act, which positioned grid-connected battery storage as part of the power generation business, there has been a vibrant movement in the business of installing and operating battery storage on the grid side. While various business models can be considered, such as projects directly connected to the grid or those co-located with renewable energy, this business also harbors many uncertainties, which could present both opportunities and risks. Additionally, due to amendments to relevant laws and regulations, starting in April 2024, it will be possible to utilize electricity charged from the grid for renewable energy co-located battery storage, leading to further expansion of business opportunities. In this lecture, we will provide an overview of the battery storage business for companies considering grid-side battery storage, and we will carefully explain the key points to keep in mind when engaging in the currently trending grid-connected battery storage and renewable energy co-located battery storage business. [Seminar Details] ■ Date and Time: October 4 (Friday) 13:30-15:30 (Doors open at 13:00) ■ Speaker: Mr. Rentaro Hayashi, Senior Manager, Research Consulting Division and Research Department, Japan Research Institute, Ltd. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
