Medical instruments for selecting bone fixation plates used in wrist fracture surgery are manufactured from a special plastic that appears in X-rays!
Our company has focused on inexpensive plastic compared to metal and developed a "bone fixation pseudo plate" that appears on X-rays while keeping costs down. Normally, plastic does not appear on X-rays because it is X-ray transparent, but we have solved this issue by mixing in a contrast agent. Furthermore, by adjusting the thickness and the amount of contrast agent, it has become possible to make it appear semi-transparent on X-ray images. We are advancing the establishment of a production system to contribute to better healthcare while keeping costs down. 【Features】 ■ Solves the issue of not appearing on X-rays ■ Can be adjusted to appear semi-transparent on X-ray images *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
