Anti-Stick Coating vs Scraper: Two Proven Approaches to Prevent Build-Up in Rotary Valves
Rotary valves play a critical role in the controlled feeding and discharge of powders. However, material build-up on the rotor can significantly impact production efficiency and operational stability. For powders that are prone to adhesion, effective countermeasures are essential. In this case study, we evaluated the effectiveness of two adhesion prevention solutions using: a sanitary rotary valve with an anti-stick coating (DSXM), and a sanitary rotary valve equipped with a scraper mechanism (SSCA).
