◆Concentration Standard Notification - Article 577-2, Paragraph 2 of the Labor Safety and Health Regulations (*1) Businesses must ensure that in workplaces where they manufacture or handle substances designated by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare as not posing a risk of health impairment to workers when exposure is kept at a certain level (excluding those related to products primarily intended for general consumer use), the level of exposure for workers engaged in such operations must be below the concentration standard (hereinafter referred to as "concentration standard value") set by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare. - Substances designated by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare (*2) 67 substances including ethyl acrylate - Concentration standards set by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare (*3) Depending on the type of substances designated by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare, the eight-hour time-weighted average must not exceed the eight-hour concentration standard value, and the fifteen-minute time-weighted average must not exceed the short-term concentration standard value.
