This product functions as an add-on module for the santec wavelength-tunable laser (TSL series) and provides three functions required for photonics device evaluation: reflection point measurement, wavelength-dependent loss measurement, and proximity sensing. By combining it with the broadband wavelength-tunable TSL, the position of loss points in photonics devices can be detected with a high resolution of 5μm. Additionally, by adopting optical coherent detection technology, wavelength-dependent loss (WDL) can be measured over a wide dynamic range exceeding 80dB in a single wavelength sweep.
