In reverse engineering, we start with measuring the shape of the actual object, then proceed to shape measurement through actual scanning, creation of 3D data, and manufacturing. 1. Measurement of the actual object We take possession of the product and perform shape measurement using our three-dimensional measuring machines. 2. Measurement of the actual object and 3D scanning We extract various dimensions and tolerances from the scan data. It is also possible to compare and verify good products against defective ones. 3. Creation of 3D data We create drawings to facilitate processing arrangements. 4. Manufacturing We carry out manufacturing through cutting processes, 3D printing, mold making, and injection molding.
