Listen Technologies' ListenTALK is a unique two-way wireless communication system. ■ It operates on the 1.9GHz frequency band (DECT method), allowing for stable operation unlike the already congested 2.4GHz band. It employs "Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum Technology." ■ Simultaneous two-way communication with up to three units Unlike typical transceivers or tour guide products, ListenTALK allows multiple units within a group to speak simultaneously. ■Tour guide and facility tours… The sound quality is exceptional compared to previous tour guide wireless systems. There is less concern about noise and radio interference, and a variety of headphones and headsets can be used, making it effective for use in high-noise environments like factory tours.
■Intercom / Broadcasting and On-Air Return… ListenTALK can be used as a simple wireless intercom by pairing one leader unit that issues commands with multiple other units that receive commands. Since two people can respond to the leader's commands, bidirectional communication within the group is possible. Additionally, it can communicate with the professional wired intercom "ClearCom" via an interface unit. It can also be used as a return device for the caster.
■Hearing Assistance System / Simultaneous Interpretation System… ListenTALK can be set up for up to 20 groups in the same space, and if used as a receiver for a simultaneous interpretation system, it can support up to 10 languages. (If PHS is used in the area, it is limited to 4 groups.) The transmission range can cover approximately 200 meters if there is a clear line of sight from the transmitting unit, making it suitable for use in large spaces such as halls.
