Applications/Examples of results
Improvement Case Study [1] Company A was troubled by "roughness" defects on the backside of plate-shaped workpieces. It was found that two factors combined to cause the "roughness": fast-drying thinner, which causes paint to dry in the air depending on temperature, and electrostatic painting, which makes it easier for paint mist that has hardened in the air to adhere. By blending an original thinner that slows down the drying process, we were able to eliminate the "roughness" defects. Improvement Case Study [2] Peeling of paint occurred on the bottom surface of plate-shaped workpieces. Upon investigating the painting process, it was discovered that the peeling was happening on the surface that was underneath when suspended by a jig. Cleaning solution containing oil residues collected on that surface due to gravity, leading to the formation of oil residue and causing the paint film to peel. We proposed a wiping cleaning agent to ensure thorough degreasing, and as a result, the paint film no longer peeled.

Company information
Since its establishment in 1958, the company has focused on industrial paints and fine chemical products. In 1964, it established Minami-Shin Custom Co., Ltd. (now CC-G Co., Ltd.) as a research factory, where it accumulated knowledge and built expertise in specialized areas by using its own products. This accumulated know-how has been recognized, leading to an expansion of the market throughout Nagano Prefecture, while simultaneously, customer requests have become increasingly diverse. The fine chemical sector, including industrial chemicals and chemical products, has evolved to include high-tech materials such as electronic materials, as well as efficient production and recycling systems to handle them. The establishment of a consistent supply system for hazardous and highly toxic materials, as well as the addition of functions for paint color matching, has also been driven by customer needs. Additionally, in response to requests from local customers, the company has ventured into construction fields utilizing chemical methods and chemical construction materials, demonstrating an advisory function from a comprehensive perspective that differs from traditional trading companies.
