When printing cut patterns, it can be quite difficult to print the patterns together, right? That's where we introduce the flat unfolding software "ExactFlat for Rhino." It can unfold the textures of 3D models, allowing not just the shape but also the surface patterns to be converted into 2D patterns! The created data takes into account pattern alignment, material properties, and stretch characteristics! In the materials, the performance of the texture unfolding function is simply tested by projecting straight lines onto a three-dimensional surface and examining the changes.
