"Spray drying" is a technology that instantly dries a liquid by spraying it in a drying chamber to create fine droplets, utilizing the surface tension of water to produce spherical, highly flowable granules. Based on our track record of granulating piezoelectric ceramics such as barium titanate and magnetic materials like ferrites to specified particle sizes and qualities through spray drying, we hope our granulation technology can contribute to the processing of semiconductor materials, and we will be exhibiting at the 2nd [Kyushu] Semiconductor Industry Exhibition! Our specialty is contract manufacturing, actively accepting trials and pilot production aimed at mass production, as well as drying and granulation tests in the early stages of research and development. Tests that are not intended for mass production are also welcome. We typically granulate ceramics such as silicon nitride, silicon carbide, and zirconia, as well as organic materials like surfactants and resins! Ceramics are mainly used for molding applications. (Equipment) [Osaka Headquarters Factory] All equipment is from Okawara Kakohki. ● Lab machine L-8 type (single cyclone collection) capable of dual fluid nozzle ● Lab machine L-8 type (bottom body, dual cyclone collection) ● Medium-scale machine and testing machine OC-16 type, 2 units [Fukui Factory (Sabae City)] ● Lab machine TRS-2W type (equivalent to TR-100, manufactured by Priss) ● Medium-scale machine and testing machine 1600 type → dedicated to black and dark-colored powders, manufactured by Priss ● Medium-scale machine FOC-20 type, manufactured by Okawara Kakohki The size of the powders that can be produced with the lab machine, using the disk spray method, has an average particle diameter of 20–40 μm. The L-8 type can also produce fine particles around 10 μm by using a dual fluid nozzle.
