Applications/Examples of results
■Automotive EcoPaXX combines excellent thermal and mechanical properties with low moisture absorption and high chemical resistance. This makes it particularly suitable for automotive applications where good mechanical performance is required even after conditioning, water/glycol heating degradation, and exposure to road salt. ■Consumer Products & Electronics EcoPaXX is available in halogen-free flame retardant grades V0–V2. Its low moisture absorption results in a higher dielectric strength compared to other short-chain polyamides, allowing for thinner designs at equivalent performance levels. ■Food Contact Applications The food contact certified grades of EcoPaXX have lower cyclic oligomer extraction levels compared to PA6 and PA66, providing a safe and sustainable solution for the food contact industry. ■Water Treatment Applications To meet customer needs for safe drinking water applications using lead-free technology, EcoPaXX offers a range of specially certified grades for hot and high-temperature water applications.
