The ULI-211C is an industrial converter that converts RS-232/422/485 signals to multimode optical fiber. It supports communication speeds of up to 115.2kbps (RS-232) / 460.8kbps (RS-422/485) and can extend signals up to 4km. With 2kV optical isolation protection, it safeguards equipment from electrical noise and surges. It is compatible with Modbus ASCII/RTU and achieves high reliability with optical communication that has EMI/RFI resistance. It supports DIN rail mounting and operates stably in harsh environments with a wide operating temperature range of -40 to 80°C. An external power supply (10-30VDC) is required.
