The ULI-213CI is an industrial converter that converts RS-232/422/485 signals to single-mode optical fiber. It supports communication speeds of up to 115.2 kbps and can extend signals up to 15 km. With input, output, and power isolation protection, it safeguards equipment from surges and noise. It is compatible with Modbus ASCII/RTU and achieves high reliability with optical communication that has EMI/RFI resistance. It comes in an IP30 plastic housing suitable for DIN rail mounting and can operate in a wide temperature range of -40 to 85°C. An external power supply (10-48VDC) is required.
