3-system insulation & up to 15km extension of serial-to-fiber optic conversion
The ULI-211CI is an industrial converter that converts RS-232/422/485 signals to multimode optical fiber, achieving both noise resistance and long-distance transmission. With three-way isolation (2kV) for input, output, and power supply, it protects equipment from surges and ground loops. It standardly supports Modbus ASCII/RTU, making it easy to connect to control devices. It can be extended up to 15 km with multimode optical fiber using ST connectors. It features an IP20 plastic housing suitable for DIN rail mounting and can operate in a wide temperature range of -40 to 85°C. It operates on an external power supply of 10-48VDC, and termination/bias can be switched via a switch. It enables reliable serial communication in environments with high EMI/RFI, such as factories, energy facilities, and transportation infrastructure.
