The ULI-213E is a highly reliable serial-to-fiber optic converter designed for power substations and energy facilities. It converts RS-232/422/485 signals to single-mode fiber optic, allowing for extension up to 15 km. It complies with IEC61850-3 and IEEE1613, meeting the stringent environmental requirements of the power industry. With input, output, and power isolation protection, it safeguards equipment from surges and noise. It supports Modbus ASCII/RTU and achieves high reliability through fiber optic communication with EMI/RFI resistance. The IP30 metal housing is suitable for panel mounting and can operate in a wide temperature range of -40 to 85°C.
