It not only excels at breaking down solids but is also perfect for incorporating powders that tend to float on the liquid surface. For high-viscosity products, it can be combined with a low‑speed anchor agitator or scraper. This powerful combination—homogenization with a bottom‑entry mixer × circulation support with an agitator/scraper —is widely used in the production of high‑viscosity cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and food products. As with other Silverson rotor/stator mixers, the stator, disintegrating head, and screens can be easily interchanged.
