We would like to introduce a case study of the implementation of a 360° rotating joint for sanitary piping at an engineering company engaged in the manufacturing and sales of industrial machinery. The automotive manufacturer was considering incorporating this into their assembly line machinery, but due to the continuous operation of the automotive factory day and night, it was not easy to stop the production line, raising concerns about the lifespan of the parts. We provided a sample product and tested the durability of the packing and sliding rings under continuous use in an environment similar to their actual usage. After 60 hours of use, no wear that would affect leakage or sliding was observed on the packing and the two sliding rings.
