Eliminating the personalization of know-how! A case where safety awareness improved by conveying accidents and near misses through videos.

We would like to introduce a case study of the implementation of "VideoStep" at Honma Co., Ltd. One of the challenges was the difficulty in sharing the know-how accumulated by veteran workers, as the dangers could not be effectively communicated through paper or verbally. Due to rotation shifts, it took 3 to 4 weeks to inform employees about changes in manuals, leading to cases where information did not reach everyone. After the implementation, safety awareness improved by sharing accident footage and near-miss examples through videos.
