【Lecture Overview】 As part of the reform of the power system, a demand-supply adjustment market was established in April 2021 to reduce the costs of procuring adjustment capacity for frequency control and supply-demand balance adjustments by general transmission and distribution operators in each area. Subsequently, in the fiscal year 2024, market procurement of all adjustment capacity products will begin, and further, in the fiscal year 2026, wide-area procurement of all products across regions will commence.
