Addressing the challenges of nighttime transportation and distribution of matcha through the automation of powder processing.
At Mizusouen Honpo Co., Ltd., the increase in production volume due to the addition of a fine grinding machine made manual collection and transportation difficult. Additionally, there were concerns about discharge to the next process due to the adhesion characteristic of matcha and rat holes. This case introduces the efforts to combine pneumatic transport of powder and granular materials with an aeration hopper to improve unmanned transport and discharge during the night.
