At Yamane Foods Co., Ltd., ingredients for instant soup were spread out on a workbench and mixed by hand. Due to challenges related to worker burden and production efficiency, this case introduces the implementation of a rotary drum mixer, which has revised the system to allow mixing operations to be carried out by a small number of people. It is also notable that the mixing conditions and operational aspects were verified during pre-introduction testing.
