basic information
**Lecture Overview** Our country has formulated ambitious goals and plans. In order to simultaneously achieve decarbonization and economic growth, we have established a legal framework and mobilized policies, creating a Carbon Neutral National Realization Plan that involves over 150 trillion yen in GX investments. In response to this, more than 1,000 local governments have declared their commitment to carbon neutrality, leading to the eve of a nationwide decarbonization domino effect. A quarter of a century ago, Ricoh introduced environmental management, becoming the first Japanese company to join RE100 in 2017. We have outlined an ambitious decarbonization management roadmap aimed at 2050, progressing towards the alignment of achieving decarbonization goals with business growth. As a result of this initiative, we have advanced the target date for achieving RE100 by ten years, and the revenue from decarbonization businesses that closely support our customers based on practical experience has quadrupled. We will introduce Ricoh Japan's decarbonization steps based on practice, four areas of GX solutions, AI roadmap formulation services, and the implementation status of perovskite solar cells. **Lecture Items** ■ Background requiring decarbonization management ■ Ricoh Group's initiatives ■ Solutions and business growth that can assist in "decarbonization efforts" ■ Related Q&A ■ Business card and information exchange session
