This is a case study on pressure balance adjustment of calendar rolls using "Presscale" in the paper industry. If the pressure balance on the left and right sides of the calendar roll is not adequate, it can lead to waviness and quality abnormalities. If the crown amount and roll hardness are not appropriate for the pressure, the lifespan of the rubber roll will be shortened. By using this product, it is possible to check whether the cylindrical shape of the calendar roll and the horizontal alignment of the shaft are as designed, and whether the pressure adjustment is appropriate, all while applying actual pressure.
