This is a case study on the implementation of "Digital Dolphins" at Higashimoto Kikai Co., Ltd. Previously, there were a large number of copies of product drawings, which took a lot of time for filing and sometimes required overtime. By boldly equipping each person on the manufacturing floor with an iPad and completely abolishing the copying of paper drawings, we were able to significantly reduce this workload. Updated drawings can be notified via email directly from the system's screen, allowing anyone on the floor to check them instantly.
