[Improvement Case] I want to measure the steering wheel rotation angle of a car non-contactly.
MACOME CORPORATION
Frequent "skipping" errors with optical sensors! How to prevent interference from factors like stray reflections and dust.
We would like to introduce an improvement case where the steering angle of a vehicle was measured non-contactly. At an automotive safety inspection company, the steering angle of vehicles was measured using optical sensors. However, due to issues such as light scattering and dust accumulation, reading errors occurred with the sensors. By setting up the magnetic detection head "SIE-140" and the magnetic scale "SIS-140," the errors were reduced. [Challenges] ■ We want a sensor that is not affected by disturbances. ■ We are looking for a sensor that has established "repeatability" every time. ■ We want to keep the implementation costs as low as possible. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

basic information
【Points of Kaizen and Expected Customer Benefits】 ■ Adopts a compact and small-sized design, allowing for easy installation even in narrow spaces. ■ The magnetic scale is attached with double-sided tape, making installation and removal simple. ■ Due to non-contact detection, there is minimal wear, damage, or aging deterioration from friction on the surface. ■ A variety of options are available, including a multi-measure counter that can be used with AC100V and extension cables. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.
