It will be an fully automated vehicle transport system like a taxi dispatch system.
A simple fully automated vehicle transport robot system has been established at our parking lot in Tsuzuki Ward, Yokohama City. This system operates without a remote control, sending commands from a higher-level PC, allowing the robot to transport vehicles. By creating a map in advance, the robot can perform operations such as departing from point A, lifting the vehicle's tires at point B for transport, lowering the tires at point C, and returning to point A, all without a remote control. It is also possible to set the robot to head to an automatic charging station when the battery level falls below a certain threshold. One system can control up to 50 vehicle transport robots. It includes functions for lateral crab walking and spinning in place. The system is also capable of handling future tire changes and other repair and maintenance tasks.
