We visualize the invisible corrosion risks to protect infrastructure facilities [JMS's hydrogen sulfide gas survey].
Hydrogen Sulfide Gas Survey Service We visualize the invisible corrosion risks and protect infrastructure facilities. The large-scale road subsidence accident that occurred in Yashio City, Saitama Prefecture in January 2025 highlighted the risks associated with aging sewer systems to society once again. Hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) can be generated in sewer facilities, manholes, pump stations, and drainage systems, leading to corrosion and deterioration of the equipment. Since corrosion progresses in places that are not visible, there are many cases where significant accidents or equipment failures occur by the time abnormalities are noticed. JMS Corporation supports preventive maintenance by quantitatively assessing the corrosion risks of equipment through long-term monitoring and on-site surveys of hydrogen sulfide gas.
