Cable diagnostic service for water treatment equipment
Understanding the deterioration of high-voltage cables before a power outage.
Reduce unexpected shutdowns and support stable operation of water treatment environments.
In water treatment facilities, the reliability of electrical equipment is essential for stable operation. In particular, cables and motors used in high-humidity environments are at a higher risk of corrosion and insulation deterioration, and unexpected shutdowns can lead to reduced processing capacity and damage to the equipment. It is important to mitigate these risks and carry out continuous equipment maintenance. Our cable diagnostic service addresses these challenges and supports the stable operation of water treatment facilities. 【Usage Scenarios】 - Insulation diagnostics for high-voltage motors and generators - Insulation diagnostics for ultra-high and high-voltage cables connected to distribution boards and control panels - Preventive maintenance of electrical equipment throughout the water treatment plant 【Benefits of Implementation】 - Reduction of the risk of unexpected equipment shutdowns - Cost savings through optimization of maintenance planning - Support for estimating equipment lifespan and planned updates - Maintenance of stable operation of the water treatment process

basic information
【Features】 - Based on over 20,000 diagnostic data points, we have established a highly reliable diagnostic method. - The cable diagnostic device enables a reduction in work time. - It measures the "true insulation resistance value" unaffected by external environmental factors (rain, humidity, contamination, wind). - A reliable estimation of remaining lifespan is derived from an insulation breakdown voltage estimation formula based on over 3,000 diagnostic data points. - Measurement items: insulation resistance measurement, DC voltage and current measurement, AC voltage and current measurement, tanδ measurement, partial discharge measurement, comprehensive judgment (using the MT method). 【Our Strengths】 Asahi Kasei Engineering Corporation conducts design, procurement, and construction (EPC) with maintenance in mind, and proposes appropriate maintenance based on design data. Additionally, we can propose information systems that consider not only maintenance but also production efficiency and production loss. In maintenance, we are developing diagnostic equipment that utilizes digital technology.
