Equilibar features a design in the Research Series with multiple trim styles and a variety of diaphragm materials, accommodating many demanding research environments. The back pressure regulators in the Research Series handle a very wide range of flow rates, pressures, and temperatures. Materials include Hastelloy, SS316L, PTFE, and FFKM (Kalrez). The maximum temperature range for research back pressure regulators is standard at 150°C, with a maximum of 200°C using Viton seals and metal diaphragms, and up to 325°C with Kalrez seals and metal diaphragms. For extreme temperatures, the High-Temperature (HT) model can be used in processes up to 450°C.

The Research Series valves are available with port sizes of 1/16 inch, 1/8 inch, and 1/4 inch, accommodating most low flow and low dead volume requirements. For larger port sizes and flow rates, please refer to Equilibar's General Service Series and Industrial Service Series valves. Canadian Registration Number (CRN) certification is available for selected Research Series models in all regions and provinces. Please contact us for more details.
