Variable Laser CEL Series | High Stability, Narrow Line Width, External Cavity Laser
CEL / CEX / CEF
Quantum technology for achieving narrow linewidth and low noise variable lasers for precision spectroscopy.
The CEL series is a CatEye-type external cavity laser that achieves high stability and narrow linewidth. Its unique CatEye resonator design combines the robustness of DFB/DBR light sources with the wide wavelength tunability of external cavity lasers, making it suitable for precision spectroscopy, quantum technology, and advanced photonics research. The CatEye structure, which reduces the angle dependence of the wavelength, ensures high reproducibility and long-term stability. When combined with a laser controller, it can accommodate narrow linewidths below 100 kHz, making it applicable for high-resolution spectroscopy and applications where coherence characteristics are important. Additionally, it supports system expansion through combinations with amplifiers and frequency conversion modules.

Detailed information
-

<High Stability Wavelength Control Using CatEye Resonators> In the CatEye configuration, reflectors with self-alignment properties and ultra-narrow band filters are used instead of conventional diffraction gratings. This enables wavelength tuning over several tens of nanometers without the need for realignment of the optical system.
-

<Excellent reproducibility due to low-angle sensitivity> The angle dependence of the wavelength is reduced by about one order of magnitude compared to the Littrow configuration, achieving high stability and reproducibility.
-

<Combining narrow linewidth and high output> Achieves a narrow linewidth of less than 100 kHz through combination with a laser controller. Additionally, it supports a maximum output of 250 mW, making it widely applicable for research purposes.
