The onboard circuit board has a long product life, and it is essential to have history management that can trace back to component lots and manufacturing lines even after it has been released to the market. The LMS-K500ML is an inline CO2 laser marker that directly marks a unique ID (2D code and text) on the circuit board itself at the very upstream of the SMT assembly line, and performs reading verification after printing all in one machine, preventing unidentified circuit boards from being released to the market. 【Usage Scenarios】 - Linking board serial numbers with component lots and manufacturing lines, allowing for tracking at the individual unit level even after shipment. - Reading and verifying the printed ID on the spot with an image processing camera to prevent the outflow of unidentified units within the process. - Direct printing ensures that the ID remains readable without peeling or fading throughout the more than 10-year warranty period. 【Benefits of Implementation】 - In the event of a recall, limiting the target lots and lines minimizes the scope and cost of recovery. - Eliminating label management reduces mislabeling and number skipping, ensuring reliable sequential management. - Completely airless operation with zero consumables, keeping running costs low even during long-term operation. - Being a Japanese-made device helps mitigate the risk of technical information leakage.
