Laser marker for post-process traceability of semiconductor package substrates.
LMS-K500ML Series (Laser marker compatible with CO2, UV, and YVO4 / Traceability support for semiconductor package substrate post-processing)
The unique ID for each substrate allows for tracing the history from assembly to packaging.
For product traceability management, a laser marker that marks unique IDs is essential. The LMS-K500ML is an inline laser marker that directly marks unique IDs (2D codes and characters) on glass epoxy, glass, and ceramic substrates, serving as the starting point for linking data from each assembly and packaging process. 【Usage Scenarios】 - Assigning unique IDs to glass epoxy, glass, and ceramic substrates for packaging to serve as a starting point for subsequent processes. - Linking data from each assembly and packaging process at the substrate level. - Tracking process history necessary for yield analysis in subsequent processes on a per-sheet basis. 【Benefits of Implementation】 - Identifying the target substrate and lot during defect occurrences, minimizing the scope of selection. - Reading and verifying 2D codes after printing to prevent misrouting to subsequent processes. - Establishing a data foundation for yield improvement through cross-process traceability.
