Regularly monitor the data center's UPS battery, not just during inspections.
CEW-M4 | Hexacore Inc.
Collect the status of multiple UPS batteries and check them centrally via a web browser. Streamline information gathering and improve maintenance management across locations, floors, and equipment.
In data centers, personnel measure a large number of UPS batteries on-site and record the results on inspection sheets, which can make inspections time-consuming and make it difficult to grasp changes during inspection intervals. This system continuously measures internal resistance, voltage, and temperature, collecting data to the monitoring software CEW-M4, which displays current values, history, comparison graphs, and alarms in a web browser. Multiple sites can also be centrally managed by location, floor, and equipment. [Challenges] - A large number of batteries are measured and recorded manually, making inspections time-consuming. - It is difficult to grasp changes during inspection intervals and the history before and after alarm occurrences. - Records are dispersed by location and personnel, making comparison and sharing cumbersome. [Implementation Effects and Solutions] - Internal resistance, voltage, and temperature can be checked via the web, streamlining daily status checks. - Changes can be understood from history and comparison graphs, supporting the consideration of inspection targets and maintenance plans. - Information from multiple locations can be centrally managed, improving information sharing and report creation among personnel. With alarm notifications based on thresholds, personnel can more easily notice changes that need to be checked, ensuring that decision-making materials from daily monitoring to on-site verification are comprehensively secured.

basic information
The main monitoring target is the control valve type stationary lead-acid batteries used in UPS systems. We measure the internal resistance, voltage, and temperature of each battery and collect this data into the monitoring software CEW-M4. You can check the current values, measurement history, individual and comparison graphs, and alarm lists from a web browser, and it also supports alarm emails based on the set threshold values. Measurement logs and statistical data can be output in CSV format, allowing you to organize and manage information from multiple sites by base, floor, and equipment. We will propose a monitoring configuration tailored to the model and number of the target batteries and the installation environment. For details on system configuration, monitoring items, and applicable battery conditions, please download the materials and check.
Price information
The price is based on the target equipment, number of monitoring points, number of locations, and connection/installation conditions, and will be provided as an individual estimate. Please contact us for more details.
