The reBot Arm B601-RS is a 6+1 degree of freedom open-source robotic arm designed for Physical AI and robotics research and development. It provides access to hardware, software, CAD data, SDK, BOM, algorithms, and more, supporting everything from robot control to AI learning and deployment on actual devices. Equipped with RobStride motors, it achieves a high repeatability accuracy of ±0.1 mm, a rated payload capacity of 2.5 kg, and a maximum load performance of 5 kg. It is suitable for robotic applications that handle real objects, such as precision assembly, picking, inspection, and transportation. It is compatible with ROS1/ROS2, MoveIt, Python, Hugging Face LeRobot, NVIDIA Isaac Sim, Pinocchio, and more, supporting the development of robotic AI for imitation learning, teleoperation, embodied AI, sim-to-real, and autonomous control. Compared to the B601-DM in the same series, the B601-RS excels in payload capacity and repeatability accuracy, while its body weight and power requirements are larger. It is a model suitable for the practical development of Physical AI that emphasizes high precision and high load.
