basic information
【Lecture Overview】 In order to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 and respond to carbon pricing, the transition to decarbonized energy and the promotion of carbon recycling have become important issues. This lecture will outline the latest policy trends regarding ammonia fuel, which is gaining attention as a decarbonized energy source, and explain its fundamental properties and utilization technologies. Furthermore, it will introduce a new technology that reformulates ammonia with a catalyst to produce hydrogen-ammonia mixed gas for application in gas engine cogeneration and industrial furnaces. Additionally, a new carbon recycling technology that reacts ammonia with CO₂ to fix it as ammonium bicarbonate, linking it to energy recycling, will be proposed along with a business model aimed at commercialization. 【Lecture Items】 ■ Policy trends regarding ammonia ■ Basic knowledge of ammonia ■ Utilization of ammonia as a decarbonized fuel ■ CO₂ fixation using ammonia and carbon recycling, as well as costs ■ Related Q&A ■ Business card exchange and networking (limited to on-site participants)
