We propose Japan Steel's acid-resistant S-TEN steel for ducts, flues, and expansions. For incineration exhaust gases where hydrochloric acid dew point corrosion is anticipated, S-TEN1 is recommended, while S-TEN2 is suitable for cases where strength and high-temperature conditions are prioritized, particularly for sulfuric acid dew point corrosion. The selection of uncoated or acid-resistant coated options, external insulation, drain removal, and dust accumulation countermeasures will be considered alongside material selection.
