Even if no abnormalities are found during inspections, increases in temperature within the control panel, changes in air conditioning conditions, and localized increases in humidity may manifest in advance as changes in the equipment environment. "PAL-Temp" is a compact sensor with built-in communication functions that can measure temperature and humidity in control panels, around manufacturing equipment, and in machine rooms. It supports Modbus RTU, allowing for integration with existing monitoring software and gateways. Its compact design, which can be installed using cable ties, is also suitable for adding temperature and humidity measurement points to existing equipment. 【Challenges】 Want to continuously monitor the temperature and humidity around control panels and equipment. 1. Compact design that is easy to install around control panels and equipment. The sensor itself has built-in temperature and humidity measurement functions and communication capabilities. It is a compact design that makes it easy to add measurement points in places with limited installation space, such as inside control panels, around equipment, and in machine rooms. 2. Compatible with Modbus RTU communication. It supports Modbus RTU, allowing temperature and humidity data to be linked to existing PLCs, monitoring software, IoT gateways, etc. You can consider a configuration that adds environmental information around the equipment while utilizing the existing monitoring environment. 3. Check temperature and humidity changes outside of inspection times. By continuously accumulating measurement data in combination with a higher-level system, you can confirm temperature and humidity changes that are not apparent during patrol points. This can be used as reference information for equipment diagnosis and inspection, such as comparisons with normal conditions and environmental checks before and after equipment anomalies occur. 4. Capable of converting the upper side to Modbus TCP. By combining with the PAL-Plus unit, it is possible to supply power to the sensor and convert signals from Modbus RTU to Modbus TCP. It can also accommodate configurations that connect multiple PAL series sensors and link measurement data such as temperature, humidity, and current to higher-level systems.
