Ikuzuiwood Co., Ltd. operates a lumber business and a first-class architectural office in the Tanba region of Hyogo Prefecture. Having been involved with wood for over 100 years in the Tanba region, we aim to convey the background of the wood, including where it grew, its characteristics, and how it has been used, in our product creation. The wooden plate "Hitori Zen Hassun," which connects to the forest, is crafted with ears to allow you to feel the breath of the wood as it was in the forest. We carefully create each unique wooden plate by milling from raw logs into single slabs, discerning the ear portions, wood texture, and grain. We received the Good Design Award for the 2024 fiscal year. Additionally, we produce various items that utilize the texture of wood, such as chopstick rests, incense holders, and bath tables.
