Features: The base layer of the coating is thinned to 5-10μm while achieving an emissivity of 0.95 or higher across the entire wavelength range (5.5-9.0μm). Thermal conductive fillers can also be exposed as protrusions up to a height of 100μm from the surface. Advantages: Minimization of the drawback of conventional heat dissipation coatings (thickness of 20-50μm or more) which caused "insulation due to resin thickness (increased thermal resistance)." Additionally, compared to a standard flat coating, the effective surface area exposed to the atmosphere is increased by 2-3 times. Customer Benefits: - Miniaturization and lightweight of heat sinks: It enables equivalent cooling performance with heat sinks that are 30-50% smaller than conventional ones, directly contributing to the overall lightweight and space-saving of the product. - Establishment of completely silent fanless design technology (partially): In applications such as 5G communication base stations, silent servers, and automotive LED headlights, it allows for a departure from fan dependency, enabling maintenance-free product design. - Elimination of "heat buildup": By applying an absorption-type coating to the inner walls of the case, it prevents heat return due to reflection, making thermal management of the entire space easier. Evidence and Basis: The minimization of thickness based on the thermal resistance formula and absorption peak analysis based on Wien's displacement law maximizes infrared absorption and radiation at temperatures between 50-250°C through the formulation design.
