VINATech's VPC (VINA Pulse Capacitor) is an energy storage device that leverages the high output and rapid charge-discharge characteristics of supercapacitors while providing longer power supply durations than EDLCs. While the discharge time of EDLCs is approximately 1 to 30 seconds, the VPC covers a discharge range of about 60 seconds to 1 hour, positioning it as a product that bridges the gap between short-duration high-output applications and long-duration power supply from batteries. The VEL series supports an operating voltage range of 2.5 to 3.8V and offers a lineup from 30F to 250F. It is suitable for applications that require rapid charge and discharge while demanding longer backup times than EDLCs, as well as for energy solutions that assist with battery peak loads.

■ Operating voltage range: 2.5 to 3.8V The VPC (VEL series) includes products with a maximum charging voltage of 3.85V. ■ Operating temperature range: -25 to +70°C Specifications allow for use in a wide temperature environment. ■ 20,000 charge and discharge cycle characteristics Test conditions are specified for 20,000 cycles at 25°C, 20C-rate, and 2.5V cutoff conditions. ■ 1,000-hour load life test at 70°C and 3.8V Standards are set for a change in capacitance of within 30% after testing, and ESR within twice the specified value. ■ Discharge time: Approximately 60 seconds to 1 hour Covers an intermediate energy supply range that is longer than the instantaneous output area of EDLCs and shorter than that of batteries. ■ Wide capacity lineup The VEL series includes 30F, 50F, 100F, 150F, and 250F. Additionally, examples of larger VPC products include 150F, 400F, 800F, 6,000F, 12,000F, and 25,000F.
