Time-series measurement of direct current|Visualizing current values and load trends for each equipment.
DC Current Measurement and Remote Monitoring System "iDC-SVS4" | Hexacore Corporation
Visualize the current values and load trends for each piece of equipment. Continuously monitor the equipment circuits with a DC current sensor that supports 30A to 500A.
To streamline the inspection of equipment using DC power supplies, it is effective to identify equipment with changes from current history and prioritize them, rather than checking all circuits at the same frequency. The "iDC-SVS4" continuously measures DC current with sensors compatible with 30A, 50A, 100A, 250A, and 500A, and sends the measurement data to a monitoring server. Current values, load fluctuations, and past history can be checked remotely, and in combination with monitoring software, it also supports notifications based on set thresholds. During communication interruptions, data is temporarily stored in a relay device and sent after communication resumes to help prevent loss of history. Usage scenarios: - Monitoring DC current of equipment using DC power supplies - Checking current values and history of DC distribution boards and load circuits - Confirming inspection targets and notification status before on-site visits Expected effects from implementation: - Comparing current trends before and after changes in time, duration, and operation - Consolidating measurement information from multiple circuits for review - Organizing inspection targets and confirmation details in advance to streamline equipment management We will propose configurations based on monitoring targets, number of circuits, cable diameter, and installation environment.

basic information
Specification Overview: The "iDC-SVS4" is a monitoring system that continuously measures the current value of a direct current circuit, allowing remote verification of current values, load fluctuations, and historical data. The direct current sensors can be selected from 30A, 50A, 100A, 250A, and 500A, enabling consideration of monitoring configurations tailored to equipment scale, from critical circuits to numerous circuits. It supports notifications based on thresholds, temporary data storage during communication interruptions, and initial installation in our distribution boards. Detailed equipment configurations, specifications for each sensor, measurement accuracy, applicable conditions, number of connectable units, monitoring items, screen examples, and data storage methods are included in the SVS catalog. If you are considering implementation in direct current distribution boards, unmanned stations, substations, power plants, or traffic and disaster prevention facilities, please first download and review the related materials. Applications/Examples of results
Main intended use: It is assumed that this equipment will be used to continuously measure DC power circuits for different equipment and circuits used in multiple DC load facilities, allowing for the observation of current value trends, including during routine inspections. By accumulating load trends during normal operation, differences before and after changes in time periods, durations, or equipment operation can be compared. For such operations: - Comparison of load trends by time period and equipment - Verification of current values and histories of multiple circuits in the same monitoring environment - Confirmation of changes in the target circuit before and after threshold notifications occur - Reference to common measurement data among responsible personnel for inspection preparation and record-keeping tasks This product does not directly diagnose faults or deterioration from current data. By confirming measurement results alongside inspection records and equipment information, it can be utilized as foundational data to aid in maintenance decisions.
