Application Support for the Business Succession and M&A Subsidy
HK-04 | Subsidy | Business succession and M&A subsidy | Application support
When you take over a business or buy or sell a company or business. Choosing the right one of four categories, from application to reports.
The business succession and M&A subsidy supports capital investment triggered by business succession, fees for M&A professionals, post-merger integration, and costs of closing a business and starting again. There are four categories (succession promotion, professional services, PMI promotion, and closure and new challenge), each with different uses and eligible expenses. The right category depends on the stage, whether preparing succession to family members, planning to buy or sell a company or business, or integrating plants after a takeover. Because the subsidy is paid afterwards, financing must also be planned in advance. Our administrative scrivener, a Certified Skilled Worker of Financial Planning (Grade 1), learns about your succession plan and timing, chooses the category, and handles the business plan through to the grant application and performance report. Share valuation and tax calculations are handled together with tax accountants.

Our office is run by an administrative scrivener (gyoseishoshi) who completed a master's course at Kyoto University Graduate School of Engineering and then worked as a researcher at a chemical manufacturer, developing cosmetics, detergents, adhesives, semiconductor and optical materials. Hands-on experience also includes SDS preparation, waste liquid management and risk assessment. Because we can read structural formulas, SDSs and process flow diagrams as they are, you do not need to spend time explaining your technology. We prepare documents grounded in both science and law, and handle communication with the authorities. As a Class A Hazardous Materials Engineer and a 1st Grade Certified Skilled Worker of Financial Planning, we also support capital investment subsidies and business plans from the perspective of profitability and cash flow.
