Application for Business Continuity Enhancement Plan Certification (BCP Certification)
HK-07 | SME Resilience Act | Business continuity enhancement plan certification
A national certification of your disaster preparedness. Useful for subsidy bonus points, tax incentives for disaster-prevention equipment and low-interest loans. Our office is certified too.
A business continuity enhancement plan is a plan in which an SME sets out its preparedness for natural disasters and other risks, certified by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry (commonly called BCP certification). The plan covers hazard checks, initial response, advance measures for people, assets, money and information, training and review, and the promotion structure. Advanced numerical targets are not required. Certification leads to subsidy bonus points, special depreciation for certain disaster-prevention equipment and low-interest loans. To use it for a subsidy deadline, apply early, allowing for the review period. Our administrative scrivener, whose own office obtained this certification, learns about your plant location and equipment and handles everything from hazard checks to the plan and electronic application.

Our office is run by an administrative scrivener (gyoseishoshi) who completed a master's course at Kyoto University Graduate School of Engineering and then worked as a researcher at a chemical manufacturer, developing cosmetics, detergents, adhesives, semiconductor and optical materials. Hands-on experience also includes SDS preparation, waste liquid management and risk assessment. Because we can read structural formulas, SDSs and process flow diagrams as they are, you do not need to spend time explaining your technology. We prepare documents grounded in both science and law, and handle communication with the authorities. As a Class A Hazardous Materials Engineer and a 1st Grade Certified Skilled Worker of Financial Planning, we also support capital investment subsidies and business plans from the perspective of profitability and cash flow.
