Industrial VR Training | Drone Operation and Dark Area Exploration
IZUTSUYA Industrial VR Training
Solving hazardous work and lack of training with industrial VR. We can create 3D representations of real factories and sites, as well as custom training environments.
Inspections, surveying, and security using drones, as well as dark work in factories, warehouses, and plants, face challenges of "high difficulty × high risk × labor shortage." IZUTSUYA provides industrial VR training to reduce the burden and risks in such environments. "VR Drone Pilot Training" allows for safe piloting practice in a VR space using actual drone controllers. "Dark Exploration VR (VR Flashlight)" is a hazard prediction and safety training for dark work, where participants explore completely dark factories, underground spaces, and warehouses using only the light from a flashlight. By combining our 3D scanning (photogrammetry, 3D Gaussian Splatting, 4D Gaussian Splatting), we can also create company-specific training environments that replicate real factories, warehouses, and construction sites in VR.

basic information
【VR Drone Operation Training】 - Operate with a real drone controller (same operability as the actual machine) - Suitable for beginners to professionals - No worries about weather, collisions, or falls, allowing for repeated training - Various scenarios including indoor, outdoor, high places, and narrow spaces - Requires company-designated VR goggles/controller/wireless receiver 【Dark Exploration VR (VR Flashlight)】 - Simulate mistakes during power outages, poor visibility, and work in dark areas - Reproduce physical behaviors such as light intensity, beam angle, and shaking - Training for actions like detecting hazardous materials, confirming pathways, and route judgment - Generate custom spaces from 3D data of factories and warehouses 【Options】 - 3D scanning of real sites and construction of dedicated VR fields
Price information
The cost will vary depending on the content of the training, the number of units, and whether a dedicated VR field is available. We will provide a quote after discussing your requirements.
Delivery Time
※It depends on whether you choose an existing training program or to virtualize a real-world site. Please feel free to consult with us.
Applications/Examples of results
【Purpose】 - Drone operation training for inspection, surveying, and security - Safety training for working in dark areas of factories, warehouses, plants, and underground spaces - Hazard prediction training and new employee education 【Transforming Real Sites into VR】 - Scanning real spaces and converting them into VR drone training fields - 3D modeling dark areas within factories for training in dark exploration VR - Customized VR training spaces tailored for companies 【Future Plans (as of the time of web publication)】 - Bad weather modes for strong winds, rain, and dense fog, fire inspection scenarios - VR for hazardous tasks such as working at heights, in confined spaces, and initial fire extinguishing - Training environments that allow multiple participants to join simultaneously
Detailed information
-

[Two Training Programs] On the left is the "VR Drone Operation Training," and on the right is the demo screen for "Night Exploration VR (VR Flashlight)." Both are experienced while wearing VR goggles.
-

"Control with a real controller while watching the video." You will display the video sent from the drone in the VR space on a monitor and control it using a real controller while watching that video.
-

Practice repeatedly with confidence, even in collisions. Since it's virtual, you won't damage the aircraft or the surroundings. It can be used for beginner training and for pre-checking inspection locations.
-

"Exploring a dark factory with only the light of a flashlight" Only the direction the flashlight in my right hand is pointed becomes bright. The brightness of the lighting can be adjusted as desired.
-

"Real-time shadow reproduction" Real-time reproduction of shadows created by flashlight light. You can freely construct pathways that include stairs and other elements.
-

Transforming real-world sites directly into training spaces. By 3D scanning factories, warehouses, and construction sites, they can be utilized as fields for VR drone training and dark environment exploration VR.

IZUTSUYA Inc. digitizes real-world spaces and objects by combining 3D/4D scanning, centered on 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS), with AI. We adopted 3DGS in our work early, in 2024, and have recorded buildings, traditional crafts, plants, and even human gestures and dance movements as high-fidelity 3D/4D data. We provide an end-to-end service: capture, data optimization and mesh conversion, and publishing, sales and license management on our own 3D data platform, 3Dasset.io. From digital archiving of cultural heritage and infrastructure inspection DX using LiDAR point clouds and AI, to Location XR experiences that combine places with human movement, we help bring 3D technology into culture, construction, tourism and entertainment. We choose between DSLR cameras, 360-degree cameras, LiDAR and markerless motion capture according to each project, and work with research institutions to field-test new equipment and methods. Please feel free to contact us.
