Just by holding up your device, the place in front of you transforms into another world. It's a location-based XR experience that doesn't require goggles or markers.
"Location VR GATE" is an XR experience that transforms the immediate surroundings, such as offices, exhibition venues, and tourist spots, into fantasy spaces or ancient worlds when you point your handheld device at them. It does not require VR goggles, and there is no need for participants to wear markers or motion suits, making it easy to implement at exhibitions and events. For capturing human movements, it utilizes the markerless motion capture system "AR51," which can simultaneously capture over 100 people. It supports real-time integration with Unity/Unreal Engine and motion analysis through AI, covering not only people but also object and finger tracking. Service development, experience design, and XR implementation are handled by NILL Inc., a creative development studio in the VR/MR field. This is an option for those who want to try location-based XR or use it for short-term events.
