No motion suit needed, simultaneous capture of over 100 people. Introducing high-precision markerless motion capture from studio shooting to implementation.
The "AR51" is a markerless motion capture system that does not require a motion suit and can capture over 100 people simultaneously. It allows for the performance and movement of groups to be captured in real-time into the digital world. Many previous markerless systems were limited to capturing 2 to 3 people at the same time, but the AR51 can track a large number of individuals simultaneously with high accuracy. Once the shooting area is set up (calibrated), there is no need for individual setups like T-poses; tracking begins as soon as people enter the space and move. The latest AI algorithms analyze the data in real-time. It can easily integrate with Unity and Unreal Engine, making it useful for live streaming that moves avatars in real-time or for AR experiences in remote locations. IZUTSUYA provides shooting and demo services at partner studios and supports the implementation of the system.

【Uses】 - Recording performances involving multiple people, such as dance and theater - Motion data for games and video production - 3D streaming and AR experiences for live events and sports - Applications in sports and healthcare (fields expected to see future utilization) 【Case Study】 A 3D data project for dance featuring world-renowned dancer Kent Mori. The motion data captured with AR51 is being sold along with rights management through blockchain technology via 3Dasset.io.
Detailed information
-

No need for suits or markers. Once the shooting area is set up, it will track the movements of multiple people simultaneously just by them entering and moving.
-

Capture over 100 people at the same time. Since performances in a group can be captured all at once, there is no need to shoot each person individually and match them.

IZUTSUYA Inc. digitizes real-world spaces and objects by combining 3D/4D scanning, centered on 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS), with AI. We adopted 3DGS in our work early, in 2024, and have recorded buildings, traditional crafts, plants, and even human gestures and dance movements as high-fidelity 3D/4D data. We provide an end-to-end service: capture, data optimization and mesh conversion, and publishing, sales and license management on our own 3D data platform, 3Dasset.io. From digital archiving of cultural heritage and infrastructure inspection DX using LiDAR point clouds and AI, to Location XR experiences that combine places with human movement, we help bring 3D technology into culture, construction, tourism and entertainment. We choose between DSLR cameras, 360-degree cameras, LiDAR and markerless motion capture according to each project, and work with research institutions to field-test new equipment and methods.
