1,700 USB Type-C equipped EIZO monitors realize work style reform.

At the Otsu City Hall in Shiga Prefecture, we have introduced 1,700 units of the "FlexScan EV2480," a monitor with a 23.8-inch full HD resolution and USB Type-C connectivity, as part of our DX promotion efforts. Previously, we were conducting our operations solely with 15.6-inch laptops, and when deciding to introduce 2-in-1 computers, we were concerned that the smaller 13-inch screen size would reduce work efficiency. Therefore, we decided to also introduce external monitors. Since it supports USB Type-C, we can connect the computer with just one USB Type-C cable, allowing for video display while simultaneously powering the computer, which helps keep the wiring neat. After the introduction, we were able to work with multiple applications displayed by setting up a dual-screen configuration with the monitor and the 2-in-1 computer.
