Freedom to the 'form.' Further possibilities for Japanese craftsmanship.
AX 3D-MOLD is a model manufacturing service brand that combines special fiber-reinforced resin with 3D modeling. This new technology was born from the aim of supporting Japanese manufacturing by integrating 3D printer technology with special fiber composite resin. It is not intended to replace traditional wooden mold production, but rather serves as a "digital partner" to allow craftsmen to focus their "skilled techniques" on more value-added processes. The brand slogan "Freedom in Molds" embodies not only the desire to overcome physical constraints but also the wish to liberate those on-site from deadlines and repetitive tasks. Rather than denying sustainable traditional techniques, we aim to provide a new digital wing. This is the future of Japan's casting industry that we envision. Feel free to reach out with any questions, such as "How can this be integrated into our production line?" or "What are the specific deadlines and durability?" We welcome any inquiries or consultations. Additionally, we are seeking collaboration with mold manufacturers who are interested in working together on mold creation using this material. We would greatly appreciate any outreach or introductions.

Applications/Examples of results
■ Four Main Features 1. Mechanical Properties "3D-MOLD" is made from a special fiber-reinforced composite resin rather than conventional single resin materials (PP), providing not only the tensile strength required during demolding but also bending and compressive strengths that make it difficult to cause mold deformation during sand filling. 2. Chemical Resistance Since the base material does not react with various solvents, it is compatible with water glass, phenolic resin, phenolic urethane, alkaline phenol, and various binders for cold boxes. There is no need to change the existing molding processes or conditions. You can confidently continue production using traditional manufacturing methods. 3. Durability and Weather Resistance While wooden patterns can be used 500 to 1000 times, this material offers over ten times the durability, and with proper conditions, it can be stored for over ten years. It shows high "dimensional stability" as it almost completely eliminates the "expansion due to moisture absorption" and "shrinkage due to drying" caused by Japan's seasonal changes, allowing for consistent sand mold production at any time. Its wear resistance is also 2 to 3 times that of wooden patterns, contributing to its high durability. 4. Weight By utilizing the characteristics of 3D printing and achieving weight reduction through internal truss structures while maintaining strength, it significantly contributes to reducing mold weight.
