■Product Overview The M2841HPR-5G is a powerful ultrasonic thickness gauge developed for high-damping materials. It is ideal for measuring the thickness of glass fiber and carbon fiber reinforced plastics (GFRP and CFRP), rubber, high-density polyethylene (HDPE), cast metals, and can also measure composite materials thicker than 100mm. With a powerful tone burst and high-voltage pulses of up to 400V, it outputs echoes that are orders of magnitude greater than those of typical ultrasonic thickness gauges, and the reception filter optimized for high-damping material measurement ensures reliable detection of bottom echoes. In addition to features such as A/B scope display, independent 3 gates, and scan mode (high-speed sampling & minimum/maximum hold function), it also includes TDG SLOPE, which corrects sensitivity reduction based on propagation time. It has a built-in 8GB data logger, allowing measurement data to be easily transferred and displayed on a PC using the included software. Furthermore, it supports power supply from mobile batteries and USB connectors from computers.
