Conventional products are strong acids, making the process painful for those with sensitive skin, but "Yokubari-kun" is a weak acid, allowing even those with sensitive skin to work safely. For large processed items that cannot be soaked, you can achieve the same effect by soaking tissue or kitchen paper, applying it, and leaving it for a while before wiping it dry.
